The third value study, IMO, is the most interesting one. I reads well and has the most variety of values (the first one is attractive too, but too many values come too close to each other). For the color studies, it's not as obvious EXCEPT that I would not do the blue woman, because it's waaay to "Avatarish" and that's all people will see in 2011. Change the blue of her skin to another color, and it might work better. Overall, I'd lean toward the 3rd color study (the lower portion is especially harmonious. The first one's biggest problem, IMO, is the saturated royal blue shirt that screams for attention and that doesn't really blend with the rest of your harmony. Keep at it. This can be really beautiful!
